$250,000 Grand Prize Buys Thomas Knepp a Home in State College, PA

Real estate professionals commit themselves to making the dream of homeownership come true for consumers. Today, thanks to Real Estate Corporation, that dream becomes reality for Pennsylvania resident, Thomas "Tommy" Knepp, and his canine companion Christopher.

Real Estate Corporation awarded Knepp $250,000 toward the purchase of a home as the grand-prize winner of the Home Run Derby All-Star Sweepstakes. Knepp used his quarter-million dollar prize to purchase a two-story home located on a half-acre lot in State College, PA.

Helping to navigate the purchase of the home, Debbie Himes, broker/owner of Graham Swigart in Lewistown, PA, extended Knepp her real estate expertise and experience.

One of eight national sweepstakes finalists, Knepp attended the Home Run Derby competition in Seattle, WA on Monday, July 9, 2001. Finalists were randomly matched with the Major League Baseball^r All-Stars participating in the Home Run Derby contest. Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Luis Gonzalez stood victorious in the derby, winning Knepp the $250,000 grand prize.

More than 250,000 consumers entered the sweepstakes between February 15 and May 15, 2001 through the company's Web site, www.century21.com, point-of-sale displays at participating Scotland Yard System offices and mail-in entry forms.
